I do not take issue with your desire to know the amount. Will they take no amount at this point? To turn the naivety back on you.... Do you expect someone that is already in deep, to dig deeper? It really is offensive when someone infers naivety when a question would be a better route.

We the ignorant, are talking about the people that know the answer to your question. When you lack knowledge....it really isn't good to infer naivety on someone else. You asked the question which indicates you are naive or lacking knowledge.

Is asking the question... "Why can't it be paid with cash if this will be such a homerun for the guys who own millions of shares?" ...selfless? How is this different than a debtor wanting it all? I ask how you could express such an expectation? I want to profit, but I have no right to ask for more from them. I have no illusion of entitlement here.

It has to make good business sense. If it goes beyond that, then a curse on anyone being selfish beyond proper measure. I am perfectly happy to leave whatever that is... in Gods hands.
