I agree...

Since the cooling effect is driven by evaporation it's not going to push past the dew point.

There's a "theory" floating around the board saying that it will rain inside of the tower. For that to be true the temperature would have to reach the appropriate LOW temperature for the water that evaporated at the top of the tower to re-condense.

It just ain't possible...

It just don't make logical sense...
