Short Report:
Well, WildBill, That is definitely not as large as I had hoped, but it is a small step in the right direction.
That is 4 reports in a row with the shorts decreasing.
Last month the Short Report showed a very small decrease the first 2 weeks with a large decrease the second half of the month. Perhaps it will be the same this month.
The average daily volume has fallen for three bi-weekly reports. I would be looking for this to change for a signal of strength.
The Days-to-cover has increased from 28 days to 34 days. That could put increasing pressure on the shorters if the price begins to rise.
