Hey K. Sujitta, in retort to your comment about the public's lack of interest in mmoto meters in Thailand: you probably don't remember this but unfortunately I do, 35 years ago when I first made it to Bangkok there were indeed no metered taxis let alone motorcycle meters. Fast forward 10 years and it was hard to find a non-metered taxi (in Bangkok anyway) already. And today, well, there simply are no non-metered specimen any more except for maybe in the sticks aka Isan but I doubt it. All I am trying to say is that (a) the motometer can be successful in Thailand and (b) taxi meters never were and therefore need not be mandated by the government proof being that there are still non-metered lincenced taxis out there.
The real problem with WM is their lack of (political) support. They do not know any of the big players in Thailand. Paul is the sort of person who could sell a fridge to an Eskimo but without a few Thai heavyweights behind them WM will have one steep hill to climb. Just my US$0.02 worth.
