Docker does not use a hypervisor. We coined the term microvisor, which as far as I can tell is either part of or is the container..............which is what docker uses. Semantics. The big difference (public knowledge wise) Docker is Linux based whereas GW does not have such impediments. Looks to me that GW is much less restrictive in its capabilities than Dockers containers. GW seems to be able to do more. Time will tell.

This info is correct to the best of my knowledge. I could be wrong but is what I believe right now.
