The "Pearson Attack" was not an isolated series of attacks confined to ADXS
but rather bile from a - er, umm, "public-spirited avenger" [I am at a loss for words to describe the common phenom of what I regard as an honest fool driven by his concern for the common weal.]

I asked a less bilious but more effective naderite campaigner against biotech cancer stocks years ago if she didn't realize the harm she was doing to cancer victims with particular regard to volunteers in clinical trials.

She replied there were too many cancer drugs on the market as it was.

I was unable to comprehend such thinking while having no doubt whatever about her sincerity.

My understanding has not improved over the decades.
