Wednesday's Top 8/7
Note: Sorry for the tardy post; I had a fall that left me banged up. BTW, I am writing this review before I read yours, and as always it was written before the judges comments.
Jax - Good, but not great, did not move me, lacked emotion. Grade C.
Nick - This was his best, but it too was not great; it is getting late for weak performances. Grade C.
Quentin - They were right when they told put more effort into it, for this too was his best yet as we got to hear some voice from him. Grade B-.
Joey - Once again I like it when she just sings; still it was not her best, could have been stronger. Grade B+.
Clark - He got some great advice; this guy is clearly still way out in front of the others, he's a true talent. Grade A.
Tyanna - Good song choice for her, we got to hear more of her voice than ever before. However, she is young and it shows in her voice; she just needs a few more years to learn how to emote even more. Grade B.
Rayvon - His Best Yet! However, still a one-trick-pony, same look, same sound, same stance - this guy is scared trying harder or hiding a lack versatility and I am tired of him. Grade B-.
Qaasim - I see he showed up high again, and he still can't sing. Grade F.
Went Home: Finally, I don't have to watch Qaasim not sing and make ugly faces while doing it - Yea!
Next Week: My picks and in order - Rayvon, maybe Nick and possibly Jax.
