I stated:

Feel free to install yourself as a Mod and do the updates you think are merited.

How was this 'insulting you'?

Didn't state anything about you 'not meriting' the job.

I made this statement for these reasons:

1) There are (obviously) open moderator positions on this board.

2) You feel (obviously) that the PR's (which I view as having insufficient merit to stickie) have merit and are worthy of 'somebody' placing into prominence.

3) I (to the contrary) do NOT think that any of the new PRs (which I view as half-hearted fluff) merit being placed into prominence.

4) I (as a Mod) can only stickie one message at a time and do not wish to replace my message from 2014.

5) You (should you decide it is worth your time) could remedy this problem you perceive by submitting a moderator request to the iHub Administrators.

I did NOT state that you do not 'merit' a voice a voice here. I did not state that your ideas have no 'merit'.

I stated that IMO that the PRs that the company has been cranking out like mad have not been interesting enough to ME for me to take the action you have requested.

What I stated was - you have an option of becoming a Mod here, and should you chose to avail yourself of that option - you can stickie PRs to your own heart's content (within the TOS on iHub of course).

Take that option,.... and then it doesn't matter one whit what I think merits being posted.

BTW - I visit here pretty much daily - just as there is generally nothing worth commenting on (IMO) I don't post.
