Dr. Seymour knew from the start that NNVC would be sending multiple variants of Ebolacide to USAMRIID since that is the usual protocol. He may have been expecting only 12 variants, not 18, but that is the extent of the unexpected developments.

The fact is that over the past 9 years Dr. Seymour has consistently underestimated all times for milestones by factors of 2 or more (often, much more).

And as I predicted from the start, the Ebola epidemic is winding down and it is very unlikely that any human trials of Ebolacide will occur in the remainder of the current outbreak. What I hadn't predicted is that Ebola would end so quickly that USAMRIID would lose interest in doing the tests they had already scheduled, which now appears might be the case. (I would like some clarity from NNVC on that point.)
