Yes, CB-mouse. I seem to recall that there was an ex parte conference before the canadian judge.

One can surmise that Health Canada lawyers told the judge that they had come up with with troubling evidence of possible illegalities with respect to CEN Biotech.
Those irregularities are why the license was rejected, and HC referred the whole shebang to the RCMP for in-depth investigation.

Possibly, the judge told CEN lawyers that the case would be put on hold until the Canadian police notified him that their investigation was over.

Rather than having the judge Order that formally, maybe CEN saw the light and decided to "discontinue" the case, with the defendant's gracious leave (permission).
