"The Great Los Angeles Bubble" of 1927 also involved an overissuance. Eventually the Los Angeles Stock Exchange suspended trading of the Julian Petroleum Corporation. The shares had dropped from $36 to $.75 in a matter of weeks. I know this stock cannot get much lower but that seems to be the future here. Eventually the overissuance will get noticed by the regulators and to protect investors there will be a stop trade.
