Legalization of marijuana not a "double home run"

Cannavest is not on that side of the ledger....they are on the nutrient side of the hemp plant. The development of the various products and especially the development of CBD which continually shows promise to stop and at the very least curtail seizures in children.

Rand Pauls bill along with McConnell and the other bi partisan supporters is all about jobs for the farmers.....and we all know how bad the farmers are hurting.

State govts, are not about to continue to tax it's citizens any further....the resources that are available now with respect to hemp and the legalization of marijuana and the revenue that is generated is too strong....

Remember....Money follows Money.......Colorado Washington, and now 4 other states are getting involved.....23 states have legalized medical marijuana...Cannavest just needs to have the development of the hemp plant as crop....it does not need to have marijuana legalized to be successful.....If however that happens...then that will be the double home run......

That's all fine and good, except for the inconvenient fact that CDB from industrial hemp is far more expensive than that from high-CBD marijuana strains like Charlotte's Web and R4, and as more states make legal the use of CBD from those marijuana strains, companies like CannaVest will lose exclusivity in those markets. And since the other CBD is far cheaper, they will lose the vast majority of their market share as well.

Now, add in the fact that there are now at least two more companies that have adopted CannaVest's business model, the Danish company, Endoca, and privately-held, Colorado-based Bluebird Botanicals and we'll see a further reduction of market share.

And then there is CBDPureUS, which is selling 99.99%-pure crystalline CBD in 1G vials for $0.25/mg and in 100 gram jars for $0.12/mg.

CannaVest cut its pricing to essentially wholesale price well after it put out the 8-K with the 2016 estimate, so one has to ask if they used the new pricing in the estimate or the old, retail pricing.

Finally, except for the capsules, why doesn't CannaVest show the amount of CBD in the +CBD products shows on the site?
