ed2000 ... Actually,

their burn rate for 2014 was more like $2.85 million/quarter when you back out the $8.6 million non-cash charge for the write-down of intangibles, plus ...

"As part of the recent changes at the Company, we have recently reduced our monthly expenses and will continue to seek ways to spend responsibly without sacrificing opportunities for growth. With a debt-free balance sheet, we believe we have the financial flexibility to embark on a new era of growth and expansion for Adaptive Medias in 2015 and beyond," concluded Mr. Waltz.

Frankly, I'm surprised the Company still had $2.3 million in cash as of 12-31-14, but the need for further capital should be no surprise considering the fast growth of a start-up and the capital spending just to develop its technology and put it in a position now of an emerging company with its sites set on continued growth and ultimate profitability.

Rocket Fuel CEO John Steps Aside, Successor Search Underway

By Tiernan Ray - March 24, 2015, 6:03 P.M. ET

[excerpts]

John remarked, “, I realized the time is right to identify a successor as CEO to help Rocket Fuel achieve its financial goals and guide it through its next stage of growth.”

The announcement follows a disappointing Q4 report back on February 19th that caused shares to plunge 27% the next day.

All-in-all, I think the Company has progressed quite well, and now it's a matter of executing its business plan, and I'm hoping to hear more about that this afternoon. I certainly wouldn't make an hasty decisions regarding the stock, at least until I hear what they have to say in their conference all ... hopefully, we'll hear some positive news.
