Please explain to me the connection between the Madin-Darby Canine Kidney Epithelial Cells (MDCK Lines) a lab tool often used for testing things like membrane permeability in early drug testing, in in maintaining viral cultures in a laboratory setting and testing for system-wide toxicity in whole canines?

What point were you attempting to make by bringing up these research tools (cell lines are generally that and not much more)?

One cannot substitute what can be observed using these cell lines (despite being derived from canine systems) with the system-wide effects that are being screened for in Toxicity testing prior to a drug candidate being moved forward into clinical testing.

Otherwise this line of reasoning seems like a potentially bad Non Sequitur.
