Exactly, and if NVAX wanted to be profitable each quarter they easily could develop many vaccines for less profitable diseases but thats not what their company wants to do. They want to develop new vaccines for diseases that affect millions of people like RSV and the flu. They are trying to become a line of defense and in order to do so they have to spend.
