Absolutely. Drugs in phase 1 have been approced. The FDA has ample info about BTD designation on its Web site, and I recommend that people read it for themselves. BTD is not business as usual, and a drug can move to market very, very swiftly. That is the purpose of the program. But don't believe me, just fish around on FDA site and see for yourself.
