The Value Line Geometric, which has a high correlation
with the A/D line, has pushed its way
through its previous high, set back in early July of
last year.

This is positive for the stock market
prospects, because the Value Line Geometric (VLG),
in conjunction with the A/D line, usually tops
out well ahead of the key averages at major turning
points.

As an example, the VL-G recorded its
highs of the last cycle in mid-July 2007, some 57
trading sessions ahead of the S&P 500, which
topped out on October 9th.


Going back still further,
the VL-G topped out a good two years ahead
of the S&P 500, prior to the March 2000 –
October 2003 bear market.
