I do not understand what kind of "balance" you are seeking.
In general, wouldn't you rather pay a higher price for a relative safe drug than pay a lower price for a relatively less safe drug[e.g.,more AEs]?

And if the allegedly "SKY HIGH" price could be lessened somewhat in a negotiated process, then where do you see the "balance"---any better?
