General Electric Company (GE)

I own GE and have for several years. Fortunately I hedged my position on occasion with out of the money puts and have done well.

I'm about to do it again on the next uptick in the stock. Might even sell a few calls for instant cash.

My comments on GE and Immelt are based on the performance over many years since at the helm. It/he simply hasn't performed for shareholders........despite the financial engineering of buying back stock and dividend increases. Will you at least concede that point.

Let's say we agree to disagree on GE and leave it at that. The hub is a place to express points of view. Oft times they vary with the consensus. And that's fine. Personal affronts and diminutive remarks as a result of that varying opinion however is not welcome.

Good Luck with your GE holdings as I have had with mine on the "put" side. Some day it may turn up but I don't feel now is the time.
