That certainly could be the case in many instances.

This is such a nascent area that many techniques may be used to get involved.

The challenge on the more informal processes, for a company like Wave, is you eventually must hit those "sales-prevention teams" at the client. If you hit them late in the process, you could waste a lot of time and scarce resources.
