This looks like the best Ultrabook yet, in terms of size, weight, display, storage, battery, and performance. A bit pricey, but everything looks top notch.

Yeah, but in my opinion, you get actually more value for the money from Apple. A Macbook Air is below 1000$ - try to find something with the same build quality and the same hardware configuration. Especially the housing is often of much lower quality for Windows devices. Asus is an exception, but the price is much higher than that of a Macbook Air.

Besides: I think the metal case of the Macbook Air may help nicely with the heat issues of Intel's Core M. It is kind of a huge heat sink. Sure, it will heat up eventually, especially while gaming, but a small fan could take care of this. I bet Apple is able to squeeze the most out of this nice CPU.
