They are making models for surgeons to practice on before doing the real surgery.

I really can't imagine a 3D printing process with today's technology that could begin to be sterile enough to RUN YOUR BLOOD THROUGH IT.

And as others said, why? This is a product that you can keep on the shelf in a nice sterile wrapping to have on hand when you need it. And if you run out in an emergency situation, it would take too long to 3D print one -- faster to have one sent from another facility via messenger.
