I think Peter Michaels is really worried about his connections in the past with Richard Weed, and the multiple enforcement actions going on against Richard. He could even do prison time.

The timeline of the Richard Weed aleged illegal activity was close enough to all the stuff he was doing with CEO Peter Michaels that Pete might be staying pretty silent (minimal or no press releases).
