I never saw this Headline break as posted below. Anyone else see this before? Elektra Records is owned by Warner Music Group. If in fact this is true, this gives great opportunity for Dead Sara's band to grow and reach markets Pocket Kid Records can't do alone.
Glendale, California December 20, 2014 – Pocket Kid Records is pleased to announce that it has signed a recording and licensing agreement with Elektra Records regarding Pocket Kid’s signed artist, Dead Sara.
The agreement calls for Atlantic/Elektra to finance the recording and production of Dead Sara’s third album and gives Elektra exclusive worldwide rights to manufacture, distribute and sell Dead Sara’s third album, which will be released with both Pocket Kid Records’ and Elektra’s logos.
“We look forward to working with Jeff Castelaz and the whole Elektra and Atlantic team. We believe there is no better partner out there currently to compete in today’s rock music industry and to develop and break a rock band such as Dead Sara.”
Mr. Bryan continued: “Our Agreement with Elektra places the power and financial resources of a major music industry corporation behind our Dead Sara releases. We expect a tremendous increase in fan base, name recognition, and value of the Dead Sara franchise as a result of this agreement.”
