Liam Neeson’s Anti-Gun Rant Provoked Company That Supplied Guns for ‘Taken 3' to Take Drastic Action

Liam Neeson’s anti-gun rant in the aftermath of the Paris terrorist attacks didn’t escape notice by the company that provided firearms for use in the movie Taken 3. PARA USA has announced that it will no longer provide firearms for any movie in which Neeson appears.
Saying it “regrets its decision to provide firearms for use in the film,” PARA made the announcement on its Facebook page:

Neeson used the “opportunity” of the Paris attacks to slam gun owners and Second Amendment rights in America:
“There’s too many [expletive] guns out there. Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a [expletive] disgrace. Every week now we’re picking up a newspaper and seeing, ‘Yet another few kids have been killed in schools.’”
A couple of questions come to mind:
Is Liam Neeson a hypocrite for continuing to make tens of millions of dollars starring in movies in which his character relies on guns as he goes after the bad guys?
And, did PARA USA make the right call in announcing that it will no longer supply firearms to his movies?

Good! I really like Liam Neeson's body of work, I am really going to miss his movie. I will NOT watch one of his films ever again.
