Knee jerk reaction. Mr Mkt is quite bipolar as the sage of Omaha so aptly desribed him.
I would wait until the facts come in. In this case, scripts for both gild and abbvie for a few months, say 6 mos, before announcing any grandiose thing like "end of biotech boom" or "full fledged price war" etc ...
All I know as a retailer is that Abbvie mgt does not come across as stupid like Dan Bradbury of Amy's fame and if they say the HepC mkt is big and a long term prospect, then who in the hell am I to argue with them ? They know the biz more than I do and they have more at stake in this game than I do.
