Wow, I wish I could spend $25k on batteries alone. Unfortunately my budget is no where near that price, for batteries, inverter, and panels I'm only looking at around $15k. The rest will have to be for the proper building materials and insulation, most expensive part is the windows....since the entire south side of the home is triple glazed panels, they are the highest cost. But, as stated earlier and elsewhere, I really don't need that much electricity, so its not a problem.

Definitely don't need a Tesla! Too expensive! I will keep my gloppy, no AC, but it gets 20 miles per gallon and its paid for!
