Me too, 2 room log cabin with a wood burning stove, galvanized tub in the living room for baths once a week, no electricity until I was 9, even then it was just a refrigerator running off one plug on our front porch. When I left that lifestyle at 13 I was spoiled with modern technology and my life is no better for it. More comfortable yes, easier yes, but morally, relationally, spiritually we are worse off than our ancestors 100 years ago. Disconnected, selfish, immoral beings that strive to fulfill every desire only to never find true peace and enjoyment. Looking back my childhood was tougher, but I was more alive then than now, had deeper connections with those around me, understood what was important in life. I long for those days and my dreams of returning to the woods, living off the grid include simpler things, without all the modern comforts. Depending on where I end up, may not even need a refrigerator, a root cellar can achieve the same results for zero electricity. Honestly, I can live without modern lighting, AC, etc. Only thing I will miss and would like to keep is a laptop for its access to the world, to be able to learn and communicate with others, and of course to be able to invest in companies like SLTD. This stock for me is not just a way to make bank, cut and run, it is my future off the grid, my dreams are of the panels in production, not of the stacks of cash made from the rising stock prices....honestly my position in this company, even at the $4 pps range, would barely cover the cost of setting up a small off the grid electrical system with a bank of batteries and a 5 or 6 panels. So I believe in JN and his goals, been putting my messily dollars in this company month after month, year after year, waiting for that glorious day that is now upon us....manufacturing is coming, so is my dream!!!!
