you will think of me as a goal-post mover, but actually, cfbe's a random point on an upwards trajectory which first implies a reversal of wave's declining sales and ultimately implies profitability on increased sales beyond cfbe.
so what i am looking for first is a change in the direction of the top line. can solms bend the arc of wave's sales northwards?
if i see material growth in wave's income i will be encouraged regardless of whether the growth meets the cfbe expectation. and actually surprised at this point.
at the moment i see no sign of progress and so i see no reason to feel excited. indeed, in my view, the longer the period without sales, the less likely it is that they will appear. in my way of seeing, the elapse of time isn't solms' friend. if wave had a hot product i'd have expected it to show up by now. in the numbers, at least. we don't get to hear about those until march. but the absence of any announcement is concerning.
