I wondered about that too. Plus what a complicated mess the rules are. Prizes to be held by their accountant. Never named.

"This contest will be based on the sale of 20,000 fudges. Fudges purchased after the date stamp on the 20,000th fudge purchased will be emailed a letter stating the contest is over and would they want to apply their purchase to the next 20,000 fudge contest.

All fudges purchased after the contest will STILL include the 1/10th silver ingot.

every fudge will include a 1/10th ounce 999 pure silver bar and delivered with each fudge or if a large quantity of fudge is ordered and the buyer wishes to have all the silver sent to themselves is an option BUT if someone contacts us that they did not get the silver we will inform them that was an option chosen by the buyer. NO mention of the FREE silver ingot is on the fudge or its packaging. Larger prizes will be paid out when the 20,000th fudge is purchased.

In the event gold and silver prices rise before purchased for winners, GNGR has the right to reduce the amount equal to the price of silver and gold at the time the contest starts. Gold was trading at $1350.00 per ounce and silver $18.00 per ounce. We tried to come as close as possible when selecting either GOLD or SILVER as the prize so they are equal values based on the ounce prices of each on this date: Dec. 11th 2014

Because gold and silver bars and bullion come in different shapes and sizes, Got Chocolates reserves the right to buy what ever is available at the time and may differ from the images on the website.

Winners may choose the option for all cash instead of the gold and silver. Winners may also be subject to prize tax and should ask their accountant what to choose (gold, silver, or cash) as the prize when you are informed you have won.

Buyers have the option to choose whether they want each fudge to have the included 1/10th ounce bars OR choose to have them separate. This is in the event a corporation buys multiple fudges as corporate gifts but wants to keep the silver for themselves plus buying more as gifts will help solidify your possession as the MOST purchased to win various prizes.

calculations for contest winners will be calculated by the time stamp on the purchase orders down to the second, In the event more than one order comes in at the same time (unlikely) and if those two or more are part of a winning prize, than the price will be divided equally among those winner.

In the event the contest has to end before the 20,000th fudge is purchased, GNGR will reduce the prizes relative to the percentage of fudge sold. If at contest end we sell only 10,000 fudges instead of 20,000, the prizes will decrease by half. We will however keep the contests going for an adequate amount of time to allow for those 20,000 fudges to be sold SO tell every one about it.

Any winnings over $600 will be subject to a 1099 tax form, Before any prizes are sent to winners who win over $600, you may want to talk to your accountant to see if choosing cash over the precious metals is advised. If a winner chooses gold or silver that is valued over $600, taxes will have to be paid on those winnings.

Winning the prize for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th most fudge purchased are based on the same person and can be made at once or at different times, All orders placed at one or separate will count towards the total purchased.

Videos created and not submitted or approved and listed on this website will NOT be eligible for the contest. ALL videos must be sent to this link (submit video HERE) for approval. Only those videos submited and allowed for the contest will be listed on the VIDEO CONTEST tab. Videos can be silly, funny, serious, musical, but respectable, ALL videos to be eligible must include 3 elements, 1) Mention why you like the fudge 2) mention the FREE silver ingot and 3) the www.gotchocolates.com website must be included in the description of video.

Only one video per buyer. Submitted videos are the responsibility of the person making the video to know the rights as set forth in the You Tube guidelines and hold Got Chocolates harmless in the event any issues arise do to any rights violations.

Prize pool money will be held by our accountant in a separate interest bearing savings account and used to finance prizes once the contest is over. Winners will be notified by email and issued name and number code on the DAILY CHART on the main page.

Got Chocolates has the option to increase the prize pool by adding additional prizes to increase chances.
