The concept is based upon the creation of collaborative partnerships to drive disruptive innovation by combining and leveraging expertise and capital in a manner that is beneficial to partners and customers. For example, InterDigital recently announced an investment and R&D collaboration with BIO-key International to target advanced cloud security, identity and access management solutions for the mobile market. Through this partnership, InterDigital will integrate its security technology with BIO-key's state-of-the-art fingerprint biometric authentication solutions to create product offerings for the mobile market.

InterDigital has over $320 million in revenues so far this year and they expect another $80 million from this quarter. I consider their investment in BIO-key an excellent endorsement.
