Burt Reynolds' sweet Trans Am from 'Smokey and the Bandit' up for sale
Updated 11:34 am, Wednesday, December 3, 2014

Burt Reynolds is having a garage sale of sorts.

Hundreds of pieces of art, high school football trophies, movie memorabilia and other possesions — even an eight-foot-tall stuffed Kodiak bear — are being offered by Julien's Auctions

The actor has denied reports he's flat broke, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I have been dealing with a business dispute for many years as well as a divorce settlement. I am simply selling some of my memorabilia that I have enjoyed for so many years but do not have use nor room for them anymore."

So if you've ever wanted to own a pair of Burt's cowboy boots, or Burt's ultra-suede bathrobe, now's your chance.. Actually, that's disgusting, don't buy that.

The crème de la crème of the auction, however, is the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am from the 1977 cult favorite "Smokey and the Bandit."

Well, not the actual car from the movie, but a replica that was giving to Reynolds for promotional purposes. Either way it's the closest you'll ever get to that famous mustache.

Check out the listing from Julien's Auctions:

Few movies are as iconic in the world of cars as Smokey & the Bandit. Released January 1, 1977 starring Burt Reynolds, Sally Field and a black and gold "Screaming Chicken", the movie tells the story of the aches and pains of getting a Coors beer east of the Mississippi. This is Mr. Reynolds' 1977 Trans Am Coupe (T-Top) which was used as a promotional vehicle for the movie and gifted to Burt for his collection. She features a 400 cid Pontiac V-8 engine with just over 12,000 miles, a 4-barrel carburetor and an automatic transmission. With a gold plaque on the driver door stating "1977 Pontiac Trans Am Owned By Burt Reynolds" and a customized "Bandit" logo, this is "no ordinary automobile"; it's a piece of "Hollywood History". This is an amazing opportunity to own what just might be the coolest car EVER!

VIN: 2W87Z7N194062

Estimate: $60,000 - $80,000
