oscillator: A momentum line that fluctuates around a zero value line (or between 0 and 100). Oscillators can help measure overbought/oversold levels, show negative and positive divergence and they can be used to measure a price move's velocity. Oscillators include RSI, Stochastics, MACD, etc.
