The R/S was not to get cash but to increase the share price to stay above the price mandated for exchange listing. They could be in the same boat soon...but I definitely hope not. The offerings (aka dilution) are the cash tool....

The value of the total shares after the split (in theory) would not have changed. They definitely have since then which is the reason why investors cringe at the though of an R/S....
