The company's strategy is to get one of their compounds far along enough in development (probably B) to secure a partnership deal with upfront money that can be used to fund further development of ALL compounds. But note: whether the cash comes from a partnership deal or stock issuance, it is not free cash flow to equity holders (ie, you and me) so don't get too wrapped up in this. The most important thing is the company has the ability to continue funding its development work.
