mutual funds are capital preservation not growth and those are for pension funds and the like.

just ask anyone that owned APPL the last 10 years. that beat any mutual fund or index

or CMG or DPZ or SIRI or LVS or WFC or CVX or even IBM until lately.

if someone was lucky enough to snap BRK.A at $70K or $80K in 2009-2010, that is a nice return. beats any mutual fund.

so please..tell me how they are so great for growth? they are not.
