Yeah Go finding a profitable business model on our polymerise chain recognition technology product has become the sticking point. I'll get you the presentation that shows how cumbersome the first generation really turns out to be. A shock to my system when I first saw it.

The R&D grants from DLA and MDA (IMHO) are for us to get this up to a commercially viable state. Now we have scintillating polymers in the tag that emit a visible light when hit with a flouresent beam (not just any flourescence will do).

No authention. Just an indicator that the tag has scintillating components. For authentication swabbes sample put into a PCR detection assembly (looks like a microwave oven) for analysis)

That's our current funding model.

Gamma ray reader like QR and faster DNA recombinant processes are what the grants are all about.

AG pointed out the possibility of not ready for prime time a while back. The man is prescient. And kudos to him. We gotta come out of the blocks now with the next gen PCR platform for commercial sector or we're screwed.
