Pittsburgh, PA - November 23, 2014 - Unique Pizza and Subs Corporation (OTC Markets Groups Inc.: OTC Pink: UPZS) today announced they have signed an agreement with Essence Global Inc., a Shanghai based logistics company which provides services in container manufacturing, freight forwarding, importation, container distribution, foreign licensing, product distribution, and provides an extensive expertise in providing Chinese suppliers with the necessary AQSIQ documentation for establishing market preparation for the Asian market. Essence Global has also agreed to help establish China based franchisees and implement the technology required to market Unique Pizza products directly to Chinese consumers through the use of custom mobile apps.
Mr. David Tan, President of Essence Global Inc., said, “There is a movement among Chinese consumers to purchase American-style products that are produced in the USA. While there are many companies which have attempted to establish foreign style products into the Chinese market, the major shortfall in all of these products when emulated by foreign producers are the sub-par ingredients used, because they are of Chinese origin and do not compare to the preferred USA quality standards.
