Are you chasing after the stock has started to run. That is the worse time to buy a stock after it has peak it run. Many try to get on and hold a resistance line to keep the stock from falling or buy after a run. IMO that is the worse to do if they are using all of their funds to hold a line on a high risk stock, and the line get broken, and the price continue to drop and no funds left to re-coupe all or some of the losses when the pps starts to go back up, but not up to the point where the last investment was made.

I always save funds back to recoupe some or all of my losses when trading high risk stocks. Especially with "Q" stocks.

All in my humble opinion of course.
