FM: I'm in agreement with your assessment. Do you think a more complete report on cohort 3 data could pull us out of this nose dive? More information about phase two design...properly presented? Maybe some interim data from the melanoma study (that's a big if, I guess)? What, specifically, is GALT not doing that other companies do that would make things go more smoothly?

I would add that the negative "sugar pill" rhetoric has hurt us too. This is intentional damage, going back to the time of cohort2 release of results. The blog posts by certain anonymous and other individuals that were pretty obviously aimed at crashing the stock were very successful (though we walked right into it) and that has been hard to shake too. I read the Yahoo board, and it's amazing how much negativity there is towards GALT. People who continuously work to discredit the company for no discernible reason that I can find (at least no one is admitting to being bitter about losing a lot of money). To me, it looks like most investors appear to want to be spoon fed information and follow the herd. There's safety in numbers, I guess. That or they are just looking for a quick buck on a flip/trade and get whiney when their money gets tied up for too long. Though it's taking a while to prove, I think the science is actually winning out here.

I'm not sure what to think about lack of confidence in management. I feel it too. Part of me would like to see GALT purchased by another pharma. that's more capable of getting the drug through the trials without tripping over their own feet. I'm pretty sure, at this point, I'd lose with a buyout--unless shares rolled over the the new company (does that ever happen)? Another part (and this part is currently winning) says just wait it out. Data is looking good and GALT is collaborating with, whom I understand to be, some of the top Dr's in the field.

I'm not trading this so I'm trying to keep the perspective that I wouldn't have sold this stock until P2 was over anyway. I never thought I'd see prices this low again so I've slowly been adding and will continue to do so, when I can, just to try to reduce my avg. cost per share.--hoping in the long run that it'll be the right move. Though I think there are hotter plays right now, one of which I'm sure many of you are aware of.

These are all the rambling opinions of a newbie, so...think for yourself and good luck with your decision making.
