Mr. Hicks enjoyed a twelve-year career with Owens Corning Fiberglas. During his tenure he was primarily involved in product distribution and exports and held various management positions. In 1980, he along with a partner established a building materials distribution company, Denver Distribution Inc. After growing the company to approximately $60 million in annual sales, the company was sold in 1998, as part of a rollup. Mr. Hicks retained the title of Executive Vice President of Operations for the new company (Service Partners, LLC) until October 2000. Since October of 2000, he has been President and equity owner of several companies.
