You are missing that the election is Tuesday, and the dems are losing senate seats, so they are desperate and playing damage control.
Further, FNMA is hiring, including an attorney experienced in NYSE relisting.
Likewise, we did not see a selloff today, with those politicians who had advance notice of this "voluntary dismissal".
Most "voluntary dismissals" are not...they have some compelling reasons to dismiss. We just dont know what the compelling reasons are.
Lambreth has asked for a settlement..repeatedly..and the government has delayed while one is being negotiated, such as asking for more time in the discovery which has been unopposed by the plaintiffs.
