If they shut the stock down, that would mean there were shady goings on, which equates to two things:

1- it should be shut down. Why would you want to own a manipulated stock??? (You'll never see "copper", ever)
And they wouldn't shut it down for long. They'll just go after the brokers and players

2 - if there are shady goings on, I could quite possibly get a whistleblowers reward. Yeah, it doesn't benefit you, but you as well as anyone else can file a report with the SEC online, and get a piece, if there is one.
