That is a very thoughtful and informative post. I really appreciate it.

My first chapter of penny investing ended when a company I was bigtime into simply stopped. The same day the CEO was finally giving a long awaited PR which should've sent things soaring, he was registering his new company (his escape plan) secretly in an entirely different sector, and left everyone holding the bag. That stung.

I took a year off.

Came back, looking at lessons learned, diversified in some pennies and a few dollars and every day, the portfolio is worth less and less an less. I guess I jusr haven't gotten the knack yet.
