Four months PFS is actually 7 months from resection.
"Of note in the (DCVax-L Phase III) trial, PFS and OS times are estimated from time-point of randomization, which happens approximately three months after initial surgery, whereas in common clinical practice these are usually calculated from the time of surgery." This is according to Dr. Keyoumars Ashkan who heads up the DCVax-L clinial trial at King's College. He wrote this in a research paper Published in PubMed, July 7, 2014, where he also disclosed that he was Long NWBO.
This is significant because a 4-month PFS in this randomized trial is equivalent to 7 months in the previous trials. It takes 3 months until randomization because SOC takes up at least 6 weeks, then patients need time to recuperate because SOC has weakened their immune system, etc.
Pyrr and Flipper, Evaluate and others making calculations....are you aware of this longer time period and does it change any of your calcuations?
I can post the entire paper if you want, but I can't find the link to the full paper, only to the abstract. and it is: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24850137
BTW, to those who asked about my online name, BearTrap is from my best selling photo, which I recently posted, and not related to stocks, though it fits nicely. I'm a professional writer/photographer and teacher and sell my photography and books at art shows.
