Add to that; H-P's offering won't be ready for market until 2016. Who knows what the market for these products will look like by then? Worse yet, my guess is, the market will have moved away from plastic printing by quite a bit, since the emphasis now seems to be metal printing. Metals are complicated because of all the alloys and additives that will have to be handled. By the time HP comes to market, the market will look very different. Cramer is "blind leading the blind" once again, acting like a simple announcement is a done deal. When, in fact, it only means that HP has a very long way to go indeed.

It sometimes does happen that a co., like HP, will invest and bring a new product to a stage, then decide to license it out, rather than doing the marketing themselves, so as not to admit they made yet another mistake, hahaha.

In short, there are so many variables connected to this early announcement stage product (vaporware anyone?) it should have received no more than a mere mention, not the drum beating the shorters here want to give it. But hey, can you smell the fear?
