Nabbbss's 2014 PREDICTIONS: The Senate—Happy Days are Here-Again!
Going into Nov. 4, Republicans currently Hold 45 Seats to the Demos’ 55.
Every two years, appx. one-third of the Senate’s 100 Seats come up
for re-Election. (Senators have six-year Terms.)
Yes Friends, it is looking REALLY good for Conservatives!
Here we go:
WEST VIRGINIA – GOP Candidate Shelley Capito, aka Shelley Moore Capito --
she’s the daughter of former WV GOP Governor Arch Moore and
the current 7-Term Congresswoman from WV’s 2nd District (Charleston
to the Eastern Panhandle – Martinsburg/Harpers Ferry). Capito is boldly
marching toward a near-Political Coup in Historically-Democratic WV.
Ms. Capito will become the first female WV Senator in its History, and
the first Republican Senator from WV since earlier in the 20th Century!
Obama’s War-on-Coal and Democrats’ generally uber-Liberal
cultural issues have thoroughly disgusted and alienated WV’s traditional
family-and-Christian Values-holding population, producing what must
be the most stunning Statewide Political transformation in the U.S
ever. In 2012, not one County Voted for Demo Inc. President Obama –
all 55 Counties supported Romney, some by unthinkable, inconceivable
margins (for WV) such as 70-30! (THAT is how severely, intensely Obama
is detested and loathed in leading-Coal-State WV.) In addition, if WV’s
3rd-District Demo Inc. Nick Rahall is beaten by GOP Evan Jenkins, ALL
THREE of WV’s Congressional Districts will be Represented by Republicans!
Nabbbss says: Ms. Capito Wins in a cakewalk, at least 56-44.
MONTANA – Nabbbss says: GOP Candidate Steve Daines buries
sacrificial-lamb Demo Candidate Amanda Curtis, at least 60-40.
SOUTH DAKOTA – Popular Republican Governor Mike Rounds is in
a truly odd three-Candidate Political donnybrook, with gadfly-spoiler
former Senator Larry Pressler and Demo token-Candidate Rick Weiland.
Desperate Liberals have tried with increasing frenzy to turn this Race
into something, but it will be to no avail. Sole SD GOP Congresswoman
Kristi Noem (yes she’s pulchritudinous and fetching, I’ve gotta say!)
is coasting to a no-brainer re-Election (we just love her!) and, with
Rounds’ Election as Senator, South Dakota – for one of the few times in
its history – will send an all-Republican Delegation to Washington!
Nabbbss says: Rounds, in a three-way Race, Wins it by at least
56…to 26 (Weiland)…to 18 (Pressler).
ALASKA – Republican Candidate Steve Sullivan has been steadily and
stealthily gaining ground to what’s now a solid Lead over pitiful and
pathetic Inc. Demo Mark Begich. Intractably Conservative Alaskans will
cast-aside their rare six-year-old blunder and return to their true
ideological roots. Begich has been reduced to a woeful stammering,
trembling, and shattered piece of pewter, all of which has been
exacerbated by his foot-in-mouth disease.
Nabbbss says: Sullivan Wins by a wider margin than initially thought, 55-45.
KENTUCKY – A marquee Race here. Incumbent GOP Senate Minority Leader
Mitch McConnell – a Republican stalwart, warhorse, and shrewd
Parliamentarian – has been mired in a highly entertaining, back-and-forth,
near-exhausting battle with what must seem TO HIM to be a mere
Sorority Girl – little Alison Lundergan Grimes. (Yes little, and I don’t care
if that IS sexist of me!) Truly, this HAS BEEN a closer-than-expected
Race because long-timer McConnell isn’t exactly exalted and beloved
in KY, and Kentuckians would rather have had another, fresher Candidate.
Frantic Demos and Leftwing PACs have poured TONS of money into
this Race, to no avail I must say.
Nabbbss says: McConnell holds-on and Wins it by at least 53-47.
NOTE: This Race is NOT a pick-up; it’s a GOP Hold.
NORTH CAROLINA – The other marquee Race this year. NC State House
Majority Leader Thom Tillis is firmly locked into what has been a
titanic battle with Inc. Demo Liberal Kay Hagan. This Race and KY’s will
have had the most money spent on them of all the Senate Races.
Hagan has hung-on and even Lead for much of the time, mostly due
to the enormous tsunami of Demo spending and the support of the
Yuppish-Northeastern-elitist high-tech newcomer demographic and
population centered in mid-State’s Research Triangle. In the recent
and Final weeks, a huge last-minute infusion of GOP and PAC funding
has greatly-helped Tillis creep up and even gain a Lead over the
excruciatingly-unctuous, do-nothing, smarmy Hagan.
Nabbbss says: It’ll be tight, but Tillis edges-out Hagan 51.1-48.9.
GEORGIA – Republican Senate-Nominee Businessman David Perdue
has been engaged in full-combat, fending-off GA Demo Political scion and
heir apparent Michelle Nunn, daughter of GA’s former and beloved
Moderate (?) Democrat Senator Sam Nunn. This one’s been, for much
of the time, closer than many had expected due to tremendous Demo
and Liberal-PAC spending and GA’s large, growing African-American
population. In the recent two or three weeks, though, Mr. Perdue does
appear to have seized and clung-to a narrow Lead and, in the end,
most of GA’s born-and-bred rock-ribbed Conservatives will return home.
Libertarian Candidate Amanda Swafford’s 2-or-3 Percent MAY tilt this
Election into a January 6 Run-Off between Perdue and Nunn BUT, IMO,
this is highly unlikely, despite the fondest wishes and hopes of Demos.
Nabbbss says: Perdue Wins this Seat 51-47-2, eliminating the need
for a January 2015 Run-Off.
NOTE: This Race is NOT a pick-up; it’s a GOP Hold.
IOWA – We just cannot HELP Loving her! Republican Candidate Joni Ernst
grabbed our attention, engaged our dearest hopes, totally entertained us,
and permanently persuaded everyone that SHE IS THE ONE for Iowa and
the U.S. Senate, when she gleefully informed us that, as a girl on her
parents’ Farm, she helped castrate the hogs, and when in Washington she
was going to CUT the pork! That ad has been the Best and Greatest
Political Commercial of the Year. Joni Ernst is the best thing to happen
in Iowa since corn and hogs, and post-Election she will replace (in certain
aspects) Sarah Palin as a beloved Darling, a much-in-demand spokesman,
and icon of Conservatives and Conservatism. Yes Friends, a Star is Born.
Nabbbss says: Joni Ernst takes the cake, and puts the hogs back in their
pen and the corn in the silo by Winning this key, highly-visible, milestone,
emblematic Race 53-47.
KANSAS – Incumbent long-time GOP’er Pat Roberts unexpectedly found
himself mired in a Political maelstrom when the Demo Candidate
dropped-out and so-called Independent, frustratingly-enigmatic Greg Orman
seemed to have taken the reins from Roberts (who was hobbled by his age
and his seeming weariness/lethargy). Orman, for his part, has refused to
say WITH WHOM he will Caucus (Vote-with) if he’s Elected to the Senate.
Also, his background is highly suspicious, inconsistent, loopy/loony, and
susceptible to close-scrutiny. In recent weeks, the GOP Party and PACs
have caught-on to Orman’s shenanigans, and launched major advertising
and PR to inform and convince Kansans that Roberts is at least the lesser
of evils and that Roberts WILL Vote in the Senate as most Kansans wish,
while Orman is a treacherous wolf-in-sheep’s clothing (i.e., a Liberal).
Just in the nick-of-time, it appears that a sufficient number of Kansans
have taken-note and paid heed.
Nabbbss says: Roberts pulls-out the rabbit from the hat and Wins 54-46.

COLORADO – Republican Congressman and Senate-Nominee Cory Gardner
is poised to pull-off an amazing Upset in this Politically-schizoid State
whose recent History has been both marked and marred by vast swings
from Left-to-Right-to-Left…and TO RIGHT again (this year). In the State
where Rocky Mountain High has acquired new, hip, and (many would
say) decadent meanings, the Right is raring and raging to yank the (Political)
leash…and it WILL! The youthful, energetic, personable Gardner, sheerly
on image alone (although he has many other strengths and attributes) has
contrasted himself greatly – and favorably! -- with the tired-seeming and
aging Demo Inc. Mark Udall (of the Liberal Udall clan…Google it).
Nabbbss says: Gardner Wins a smashing Victory, 53-47.
ARKANSAS – GOP Candidate Tom Cotton, in a Race that is nearly a
no-brainer for this State that’s trended ever-more-Conservative in recent
years, has been Leading doomed-as-a-dinosaur Demo Incumbent Mark
Pryor nearly from the get-go.
Nabbbss says: Tom Cotton swamps Pryor by at least 54-46. (Friends,
that is an eight-point Win – nothing to sneeze-at! And it is my most
cautious guesstimate. Although sometimes it seems as-if I am a
Cheerleader/Pollyanna, I really am quite, ahem, conservative in my
Predictions.)
LOUISIANA – A Political battle royale! GOP Candidate and current
Congressman Bill Cassidy is in the most bizarre, grotesque, and
perversely fascinating Senate Race this cycle. Incumbent Demo Senator
Mary Landrieu is daughter of the unforgettable “Moon” Landrieu. (The
family is a Louisiana Political dynasty that’s much-cherished like the
warped, weird Uncle some families keep locked-away in their attics.)
Landrieu, who should never have been Elected in the first place and who
regularly ranks among the Senate’s dumbest Members – right up there
with Washington’s dullard Patty Murray – has little, if anything, working
in her favor THIS time…FINALLY! The fly-in-the-ointment Candidacy of
gadfly Rob Maness (yes there are THREE Candidates!) has completely
muddied and muddled the waters here in this near-Banana Republic
of a State where ANY circumstance and ANY reason is a GOOD reason
for a party, and where cultural Politics has long been split between the
mainly Catholic South and the mainly Protestant North regions of the State.
There COULD BE a December 4 Run-Off Election is no SINGLE Candidate
Surpasses 50%. Yet, IMO, that will NOT happen, because as…
Nabbbss says: When the dust and dross has settled and the stifling
humidity has abated, and the ‘gators and crawdads have slithered back
into their fetid bayous, the score will be: Cassidy 50.8%...Landrieu 41.2%
…and Maness 8%. A Run-Off, therefore, will NOT be needed, YAY!
1) NABBBSS’S most cautious, conservative 2014 Senate Election Prediction:
A Net-Gain of EIGHT Seats – WV…SD…MT…AK…CO…Iowa…AR…LA, resulting
in a Republican Senate Majority of 53-47. THIS I 96%-believe will be the result.
2) NABBBSS’S NEXT most cautious, conservative 2014 Senate Prediction:
Add North Carolina to the eight States in 1) above, to = a Nine-SEAT Net-Gain
which would = a Republican Senate Majority of 54-46.
THIS I 80%-believe will be the result.
3) NABBBSS’S POSSIBLE and more surprising 2014 Senate Prediction:
Add New Hampshire to the nine States listed in 1)…and…2) above.
Republican Candidate and superb, energetic, photogenic Campaigner
Scott Brown noses-out Incumbent Demo and annoyingly smug, brittle,
haughty, and defensive Jeanne Shaheen.
Nabbbss says: Scott Brown whack-a-moles Shaheen 50.5 to 49.5.
This would = A 10-Seat SWEEP! Yes, it would be a true, genuine
sea-change, producing a Senate that, when it Convenes in January 2015,
will consist of 55 Republicans and 45 Democrats. THIS I 33%-believe
will be the result. SO WONDERFUL and EXCITING! A HUGE RELIEF!
4) NABBBSS’S LONG, LONG (but fervently hoped-for) SHOTS. ANY of
these Pick-ups would be more than sufficient to drive Wasserman-Schultz to
a mental institution while Harry Reid would be driven out of the Senate
Chamber of the Capitol Building and paraded with cattle-prods around the
Beltway whilst being tarred-and-feathered.
a) VIRGINIA – Republican Candidate Ed Gillespie stages a remarkable
Upset Win over the execrable, condescending Inc. Demo Mark Warner.
Gillespie is no Political newcomer or greenhorn. He has served as the
RNC Chair (a position currently held by Reince Priebus) and as a highly-
placed Advisor/Administrator to several Presidents. This Seat, when added
to those above, would = an 11-Seat gain which would = 56-44 in the
Senate!
Nabbbss says: If it’s going to happen, it will happen HERE. Gillespie
takes the prize, 50.4 to 49.6.
b) MINNESOTA – GOP Challenger Mike McFadden is up against snarky,
irritating, smug former SNL and stand-up Jewish NYC Liberal Comedian Demo
Incumbent Al Franken. (I use the word Jewish because it’s part of the icon
and much of the essence of Franken’s schtick.) This in a Socialist State that
once Elected as its Governor a blowhard, bellicose, half-mad, ranting former
Professional Wrestler -- Jesse “The Body” Ventura. WHOA! WHAT is
the MATTER with these people!?!?
Nabbbss says: We can dream, can’t we? McFadden stuns the entire
Cosmos by Upsetting the repellent Franken by 50.2 to 49.8. THIS would =
a Senate, in January 2015, consisting of 57 Republicans and 43 Democrats.
C) MICHIGAN – Republican Candidate (Open Seat) Terri Lynn Land,
despite trailing in the Polls almost throughout in this chronically and
stubbornly Democratic State, somehow (maybe it is because Nabbbss
has dreamt it?) manages to Win the Seat for the GOP! And after all,
Michigan HAS Elected a solidly Conservative Governor (Snyder), so
it is not ENTIRELY beyond-the-pale or without precedent here.
Nabbbss says: In his dreams, he envisions Ms. Land laffing (sic)
and strutting off stage-right after savoring 15 minutes of absolute
exaltation and joy at the dais before the disbelieving Media who
gather before her with trout-stares and then wander-off like stunned,
stray cattle. Ms. Land Wins this Senate Election, 50.6 to 49.4. THIS
would = a Senate whose Body would be comprised of 58 Republicans
and 42 Democrats.
NABBBSS’S HALLUCINATIONS -- NEW JERSEY
GOP Candidate (Open Seat) Jeff Bell Upsets Democrat Nominee
(and over-praised, over-hyped future Demo “Star”) Cory Booker in New
Jersey, the Toxic Garden State and the home of almost inconceivable
corruption and rottenness. Mr. Bell Wins this, 65-35. Okay, sure Nabbbss.
NABBBSS’S HALLUCINATIONS – OREGON
Enchanting, lovely Physician and Republican Challenger Monica Wehby
astonishingly Upsets Demo Inc. Jeff Merkley, among the Senate’s most
middling-piddling, mediocre-mundane, mumbling-muttering Members.
In nearly ANY other State, Mr. Merkley wouldn’t merit a second look,
but in perennially flaky, pie-eyed, disastrously one-world, Socialistic
Oregon he seemingly fits right in. …Or DOES he?
Nabbbss says: Adorable and sorely-needed (she IS a Physician, you’ll
remember?) Ms. Wehby snatches this Seat from lazy, lackadaisical Mr.
Merkley, 50-7-49.3.
