It seems to me if steroids are even mentioned as a treatment option for hypereosinophilic syndrome, inflammation is a driver of the disease and I would buy up every last AB bottle I could get my hands on. There's no other anti-inflammatory available today that works at the cellular level the way anatabine has been proven to do and without side effects or drug interaction issues. Worth it's weight gold - cost the same too.

Additionally Swanson has a good Siliphos product that is considered an anti-inflammatory and very good for the liver.
