I got Fidelity to reclassify all of my distributions as long since the original assets in AAMRQ were long! It was a battle though. What is still a problem is they show no basis to the 90 and 120 day distributions, which all go back to the original long term asset. Wouldn't the cost basis of AAL be the cost basis of my old AAMRQ? I don't plan on selling any time soon but it is a mess on this front as well.
