DRYS DryShips -18% on news of stock offering

DryShips (NASDAQ:DRYS) -18% AH after announcing it has launched a common stock offering of an unspecified size.
DRYS says it plans to use the proceeds to repurchase a portion of its $700M principal amount of indebtedness under the 5% convertible senior notes maturing Dec. 1.
